Brief Programme Notes

Tuba is an original composition for Tuba Quartet by composer Peter Smalley. The piece is a very light hearted suite as you may be able to tell from the names of the movements: Ketchup, Gravy, Caramel and Custard. Tuba Sauce is written in many different styles including reggae(!) and whilst being quite laid back for many of the movements the suite still offers a challenge for the quartet.
