Matt Jolley - 2nd Tuba
Matt currently plays BBb Bass for the Raunds Temperance Band where he has enjoyed many concert performances as well as playing at the Regional Midlands Brass Band Contest. He is also Principal BBb Bass of the Northamptonshire County Youth Brass Band with which he has toured Poland as well as performing in Symphony Hall and Derngate Theatre, Northampton. Matt also plays the the Violin, Saxophone and Flute to a high level but fortunately for us classes Tuba as the most important!
Matt currently has Tuba lessons with Rachel Coles who is the Tuba specialist at Northampton Music and Performing Arts service. Matt is an accomplished EEb Bass player and after passing his Grade 8 from Trinity Guildhall in July 2008 he is going on to study Tuba at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Matt has also played for Youth Brass 2000 on BBb bass.Links
