What are we about?
We are a very committed quartet that want to play in as many concerts as possible so people can hear the music that can be created from a Tuba Quartet. Very few people will have ever heard a tuba quartet before but we garauntee it is an extremely versatile ensemble with many virtuosic elements and a dynamic range that few other ensembles can create. We rehearse regulary and are always looking for opportunities to share our music with others.What sort of music?
Although the repertoire for Tuba Quartet is not huge there is always music for us to perform whether it be a serious competition performance or a light concert programme. Our repertoire covers serious classical music to jazz with many things in between. Have a listen to our recordings to hear the range of music. Unfortunately as we have discovered already Tuba Quartets unfortunately do not work very well as background music but could be used as light entertainment in larger venues.Money matters?
Not exactly!... We are all students so any money we can earn from this quartet is very helpful but we are all more interested in performance experience and for this reason we have not got a particular rate as many ensembles do and wish to discuss this matter with you.How to contact us
